While All Eyes Are on Florence, More Potential Tropical Trouble Looms in the Atlantic

Although Florence has weakened a tad bit, we should still keep a watchful eye on her.  Florence is on a west- northwest trajectory in the Atlantic Ocean early into next week. Two disturbances following behind Florence have potential to form.  We could have Helene, in the red, and Isaac, in the orange, come to life behind behind Florence.

Above are potential tracks on where future Helene may end up. This system is well off the coast and as it gets closer, we can determine a better path Helene is set on. This disturbance is like a “giant engine” that uses the warm waters to feed it energy.   Residents on the East Coast should keep up to date on this potential cyclone and stay well informed into the following week. We aren’t in the clear quite yet.
