The GEFS is putting down decent amounts of snow in the mountains around the 27th or 28th. This will likely include sleet and possibly other forms of precipitation, therefore the amounts could be overdone. There is a bullseye in West Virginia, which could indicate where the heaviest snows will be. I’m thinking this could be related to lake-effect snow as it could add to the totals. This is not an exact forecast, however it is more of an indicator of the white stuff falling in the mountains by the 29th of this month.
This activity will most likely be limited to the mountains. If you don’t live in the mountains, you will not likely see any snow. Just gusty cold winds.
Cold and chilly air abounds, as well as mountain snow~!
