May 2017 Snow Cover in the Northern Hemisphere More Than Usual

The snow cover for May this year is unusually high compared to last May. It was been unusually cold up North around the Northwest Territories, and the North Pole as well as Russia and Siberia. This could signal that we could be in for some unusually cold air here in the States early this upcoming Fall and Winter. More cold air could mean that we are in for more East Coast snowstorms.
